Lifelong access to sports and activities that maintain strength, function and independence is really important.
There are lots of ways to be active, have fun and keep healthy, whilst making sure that you/your child reaches their potential, regardless of their diagnosis.
Physiotherapists will work with children and young people and their families and carers to identify community based activities that they would like to participate in. They will give advice about exercises/activities that will improve muscle strength and developmental skills, to enable children/young people to join in with sports and other activities that are of interest to them.
