CAMHS and ADHD Service Relocation to Harvey House, Lancaster We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the relocation of our CAMHS & ADHD Service. Due to an unforeseen issue, the move to Harvey House has been delayed. Any face to face appointments scheduled between 16 December and 6 January will now take place at Altham Meadows.

New location information:
Harvey House is situated on Ashton Road in Lancaster, offering improved facilities to better support our services. The location is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Upon arriving at Harvey House, the entrance for the CAMHS & ADHD Service can be found on the left side of the building. This designated entrance is clearly marked to ensure easy navigation for all visitors. Additionally, Harvey House has been designed to be fully wheelchair accessible, providing ramps and facilities that accommodate individuals with mobility challenges. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can access our services comfortably and safely.
Public transport information:
For those traveling by public transport, there are several convenient options:
- Bus Services:
- The 40 and 41 bus routes (operated by Stagecoach) run from Morecambe, Carnforth, and through Lancaster City Centre, with a stop near Harvey House on Ashton Road. This stop is only a short walk from the building.
- Additional buses from surrounding areas also stop nearby, with connections available from Lancaster Bus Station.
- Train Services:
- Lancaster Train Station is the nearest railway station. From the station, you can take a bus (such as the 40 or 41 routes) or a taxi to Harvey House, approximately 10 minutes away by car or bus.
- Cycling and Walking:
- For those who prefer cycling, there are secure bike racks available at Harvey House. Walking routes from nearby areas such as Williamson Park offer scenic access to the new location.
Parking facilities:
Parking at Harvey House is exclusively reserved for service users. Limited spaces are available, including designated disabled parking bays for those with specific needs. If you plan to drive, please ensure you arrive early to secure a spot.
Prescriptions:
We are pleased to announce the introduction of electronic prescribing early in 2025 pending the outcome of a pilot program. This new system will allow prescriptions to be securely sent directly to a nominated pharmacy of your choice, making it easier and more convenient for you to receive your medications. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient experience and enhancing access to our services.
