That’s the theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day, so three of our colleagues are sharing their own mental health stories, explaining how they were supported by the Trust as well as encouraging people to seek help if they need it because we can help, provide hope and help you recover.
You can read their stories and be inspired to be more open about your mental health.
They all share how LSCft has supported their mental health, and encourage you to seek help should you need it.
Remember if you need urgent mental health support this World Mental Health Day you can call us 24 hours a day.
Call 0800 953 0110 or dial 111 and select the mental health option.
Danny Forbes is one of the lads out of work, a strapping six foot four and once thought that talking about his mental health would make him seem weak. A clinical systems analyst for us, he fixes the software used by nurses and doctors across the Trust.
From his lived experience of attempting suicide, he’s speaking out this World Mental Health Day to urge men to not be afraid to ask for mental health support
