Yesterday (Friday 4 October) we welcomed a number of visitors from NHS England and Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) including Chief Executive of NHS England, Amanda Pritchard along with other guests.

Visitors completed a tour of the wards at the Harbour, engaged with service users and nursing colleagues, and heard from the Senior Leadership Team about their improvement journey and future ambitions for the Trust.
Chief Operating Officer Emma McGuigan delivered a presentation about transformation and quality and improvement. Chief Digital and Infrastructure Officer, Abigail Harrison gave some examples of using innovation in practice.
There was an open discussion with questions from guests who each seemed impressed with the fast improvements and culture change The Harbour and the Trust has seen in recent times.
