The new award is a chance for you to nominate an individual or team working at LSCft who has gone the extra mile.
The initiative is part of the brand new Time to Shine staff awards, launched to recognise the incredible efforts of colleagues working in services right across the Trust, which has over 7,000 staff that operate from more than 400 different sites across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Opening up nominations to the public for the first time, the Trust, which offers mental health services, community nursing, children’s services and more, wants to hear about employees or teams that have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
From Westmorland Hospital, to Duddon House in Cumbria, from The Harbour to the Mental Health Urgent Assessment Centre in Blackpool, to Darwen Resource Centre in Blackburn and Ribbleton Clinic to Chorley Health Centre across Central and West Lancashire – to name just a few. LSCft is keen to hear about any member of staff or team who deserves recognition for their work across any of its sites in Lancashire and South Cumbria. The winners will be revealed at a virtual awards ceremony later on in the year.
Chief Executive Caroline Donovan said:
“It’s rightly a Trust priority to recognise the amazing work all of our staff and teams deliver on a daily basis and we know that’s more important now than ever.
As with all NHS staff, our teams have faced a long period of additional pressures due to the Covid-19 pandemic and we want to honour their hard work, dedication and commitment to providing the very best services with these new awards. It truly is their time to shine!
The People’s Choice Award is a chance for service users, families and carers as well as colleagues to celebrate our unsung heroes – so please do nominate.”
