Following a robust recruitment process Chris Oliver, Interim Chief Executive, has been appointed as Chief Executive of Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
David Fillingham, Trust Chair said:
"Chris joined the Trust in July 2020 as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive before becoming Interim Chief Executive in October 2022.
Since commencing his interim role, Chris has demonstrated exemplary leadership values. He has a strong focus on inclusion and strives to do the best for our patients at all times. I have no doubt that the knowledge, skills and experience that Chris has already brought to the Trust over the last six months will be of huge benefit to us going forwards.
Chris has a strong track record of driving performance and delivering results with a clear focus on improving quality and empowering staff. I know that Chris is the right leader for the organisation and on behalf of the Board wish to congratulate Chris on his appointment.
