Further update: Longridge Hospital safety review
19th February 2025Safety is a key priority for the Trust and as part of a programme of estates safety measures, looking at our current buildings, fire and evacuation safety procedures alongside the patient acuity of our wards, we identified that the two-story unit at Longridge Hospital, housing older patients with potential mobility problems, was safer as a ground floor only ward.

Ribblemere re-accredited at gold standard
24th January 2025Our mother and baby unit (MBU) Ribblemere in Chorley, has been re-accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) Perinatal Quality Network (PQN). This is the highest gold standard achievement for perinatal services.
